A friend send me you
note looking for ideas. I work at historic fort snelling in the summer.
Its open from the begging of May until late October. If you have
never been there it is an 1820s (early Minnesota history) Living history
museum.
Employees are dressed
and play the roles of many early characters including soldiers, officers,
Indians, riverboat men, fur traders (and a few more). All the people
there are very good at delivering their message about what their life
is like in the early 1800s along the mississippi) and they do it as
the character they portray. Consider a visit. Bring a camera and do
some interviews of the past.
